Campanula glomerata var. Alba
Also known as Clustered Bellflower, Campanula glomerata is a perennial that has pure white upward facing bell-shaped flowers that are held in dense clusters on strong sturdy stems that sit above a basal rosette of oval green leaves. Each cluster of flowers can have up to 15 flowers on it. It is a vigorous perennial that flowers for two to three weeks from late spring to early summer. Happy in any soil type it is low care and is loved by both bees and butterflies.
Campanula glomerata Alba is happiest in full sun to partial shade but does enjoy regular moisture. An excellent cut flower that will last up to two weeks in a vase. If you wish to stop it from self-sowing be sure to cut off the flower stems. If you cut it back after flowering it will reward you with a second flush of flowers. Easily divided in either spring or autumn. We also have this lovely variety available in blue.
