perfect for pollinators
This is a gorgeous, very free flowering variety of Muscari which is easy to grow.
It's often referred to as the Cape Hyacinth because of natural habitats around Europe.
It has many spikes of full double, soft blue flowers accompanied by narrow, strap-like green leaves and sturdy stems which are great for picking.
Long-lasting with the additional benefit that all Muscari have a lovely grape fragrance. The more you plant, the more fragrance you get.
They look great planted with other spring flowering bulbs such as Daffodils and Tulips. Bloom time is from early to mid spring, and they grow to 15cm tall and spread to just 5cm, but they naturalise over time.
Best planted 10 cm deep in fertile, well drained soil in groups in full sun.
Like most bulbs, they don't like to be too wet.
Excellent for pots and containers, rockeries, along garden paths, and amongst beds of Tulips.
They also grow well in shallow bowls for indoors planting and home decor. Great to give as gifts!
These plants are in 1 litre pots growing with approx. 25/30 bulbs.
