English Roses | 1000 Piece Puzzle
This quiet, meditative 1000 puzzle from photographer James Ogilvy focuses on the transient beauty of late-summer flowers with English roses in beautiful shades of pink and dusty buff coloured hydrangeas.
About the artist James Ogilvy
Jame Ogilvy says he fell in love with photography as a young teenager and has been taking photos ever since. In the early years he spent a lot of time in the darkroom but admits this is rarer these days in the age of the digital camera. He divides his time between th UK and the United States pursuing a variety of subject matter in each location.
In recent years his work had centred on large format landscape photography and he particularly enjoys capturing quiet meditative moments that are all too scarce in the frantic modern world. James does however enjoy focussing on landscape at a more detailed level , as with this gentle study of late summer English roses and hydrangeas and their soft transient beauty.
