Achillea millefolium | Gloria Jean
Achillea millefolium "Gloria Jean" has what I can best describe as vintage, salmon-like, pink coloured flowers that are oh so pretty. Achilleas make a fantastic addition to the cottage garden, naturalistic and wildflower gardens, but also look at home in your perennial border. Bees and butterflies will also love you for planting Achillea.
An excellent cut flower that lasts well in a vase - Easy care and drought resistant once established. Full sun will give you the best blooms from late Summer right through into autumn. The more you harvest the flowers, the more you will be rewarded with new ones. Easily split to give you new plants which can be done at any time really as long as you keep them well watered until they become established or give them a layer of mulch.
Please note the flowers are more pinky that this upon open fully it is hard to capture the colour but still a stunning variety.
