Kniphofia uvaria | Peach
Kniphofia "Peach" is a winter dormant perennial that has slender spikes of peach flowers that open to a deep peach fading through to lighter tones that ascends from above the green grass-like foliage. These impressive little plants also make a great cut flower. Kniphofias once established are particularly drought tolerant but do like good drainage, so sandy soils are also fine. Happy growing in either full sun or partial shade.
They are particularly hardy and don't mind frost or wind. Not only do they look great in the garden but perfect for a pot as well. Happy to be divided and we use the rule of thumb that you can divide once the plant has finished flowering so in this case late summer to early autumn would be fine. Bees and butterflies love this plant.
