Also known as Angel's Trumpet, this is a small, fast-growing tree with very fragrant, pendant, trumpet shaped blooms. It has large, soft leaves and apricot-pink flowers that grow up to 30cm in size. In a warm, frost-free environment, this plant flowers almost all year.
The flowers can change color and size in response to sun, shade, temperature, soil pH, and stress. For example, some flowers deepen in colour in cooler temperatures, while others pale in cooler weather.
Outdoors in summer, give them a warm, sheltered spot, in partial shade or sun. Planting in partial shade means they should dry out less quickly.

- Middle North Island | $15 minimum
- Rest of North Island | $16 minimum
- South Island | $25 minimum
Please note... Shipping to South Island is applied as Economy by default. If you wish to upgrade your order to overnight courier, please add this to the note section of your order or get in touch with us and we will contact you with the price difference and await your confirmation.
If your order exceeds shipping rates (Shipping rates are calculated to 24kg maximum = approx. 24 x 1 Litre sized plants), please contact us for assistance at hello@puririlaneaddenbrooke.co.nz to organize shipping arrangements.
Upon checking out, the freight charged is applied based on weight and your location, including rural destinations.
- All of our orders are dispatched using NZ Post which is a fully tracked service
- Our freight is calculated by weight and volume. For plant orders, you may wish to order the maximum number of plants that will fit in a box to make freight more cost-effective or perhaps share an order with a friend
- Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
- All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
- Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
