Also known as Martin's spurge, this is a perennial shrub that is a cross between two species of flowering plants in the spurge family. It has dark green leaves, lime-green flowers, and can grow up to 30 cm in height and 60 cm in spread. It can tolerate full sun or partial shade and grows best in well-drained soil. Euphorbia martinii is easy to grow and can add texture and interest to borders. It can be used in sunny gardens or containers and is tolerant of dry conditions. In late summer or autumn, you can cut back flowering shoots to ground level to retain the plant's shape.
All parts of this plant are highly toxic if ingested, as are all plants in the Euphorbia family, and the milky sap may cause irritation to skin and eyes, so ensure precautions are used when tending to this plant.

Please note... Shipping to South Island is applied as Economy by default. If you wish to upgrade your order to overnight courier, please add this to the note section of your order or get in touch with us and we will contact you with the price difference and await your confirmation.
If your order exceeds shipping rates (Shipping rates are calculated to 24kg maximum = approx. 24 x 1 Litre sized plants), please contact us for assistance at hello@puririlaneaddenbrooke.co.nz to organize shipping arrangements.
Upon checking out, the freight charged is applied based on weight and your location, including rural destinations.
- All of our orders are dispatched using NZ Post which is a fully tracked service
- Our freight is calculated by weight and volume. For plant orders, you may wish to order the maximum number of plants that will fit in a box to make freight more cost-effective or perhaps share an order with a friend
- Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
- All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
- Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
