Pressing flowers will preserve them for an indefinite period of time. This traditional flower press will press the flowers flat, and they can be used for framing or card making. Simple to use, this little flower press comes with several layers of cardboard.
How to use your flower press
Pick and prepare your flowers by removing any unwanted leaves or greenery.
Unscrew the wing nuts from the bolts and remove the top of the press.
We find the best results are by using parchment paper between the cardboard pieces - the cardboard pieces are provided with the press.
Place your flowers onto the parchment paper and then pop the pieces of cardboard on top and layer the flowers and cardboard until you have done all that you are wanting to press.
Place the top back on the flower press and pop the wing nuts back on and tighten the press until the sheets of card with the flowers between them is nice and firmly closed.
Leave your flowers to sit for between 3 and 4 weeks
Upon opening carefully remove the layers of card and parchment and your beautiful pressed flowers are ready to use.
