Helianthus laetifolius | Lemon Queen
This is just the plant to brighten up your late season garden. Helianthus Lemon Queen is a perennial sunflower. This lovely plant is both tall and upright and is clothed in luminous sprays of pale-yellow flowers that are about 5cm in diameter. Flowering from late summer into autumn this plant will provide you with a spectacular floral display.
Plants prefer fun sun in a well-drained position but are not overly fussy about the soil and once established will tolerate a very dry position. Easy care but due to the height the plants may need staking. We plant ours towards the back of the border, so the plants are supported by other plants.
Perfectly suited to the cutting garden as well as cottage, coastal gardens and more naturalistic meadow style gardens. The perfect choice to attract butterflies to your garden.
