Rose Campion is a biennial plant so in its first year it develops it leaves, flowering in its second year. Successive plants are guaranteed as it will self-sow given the right growing conditions but are easily removed if you don't like where they are growing. Silvery grey felted leaves with stems of lax white coloured flowers that are about 3cm in diameter.
Right at home in a rock garden, a cottage garden or wildflower plantings this old style annual is also an excellent cut flower. Loved by pollinators it is happy in a sunny position or will tolerate some partial shade. We plant it beneath our Roses as it hides their bare legs!
